Scrap and Stamp & Stamp, Scrap and Doodle

I am a little late adding my posts today. I have been cleaning and time just got away from me...lol.

I hope you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween today! We will be hitting the streets with an umbrella in tow...it is raining here!
Today is the day for a new challenge over at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays. This week we would like to see Anything but a Card! So let your imagination go wild and show us what you got! Regina at The Cutting Cafe is our fabulous sponsor this week. She also gave the DT 3 cut files to work with as well. I used the box template for these 2.
These are the goodies Patrick took to school for his Halloween party. The boxes are full of mini reeces cups for his teacher and the class grandma. The school has about 10 grandmas that volunteer every single day and help with the classes. The pre-k and kindergarten classes eacg have one all day and the rest of the grandmas rotate out with the other classes.
I kept the goody bags for the class simple this yes and just added a stamped tag. No muss no fuss...lol.

supplies: The Cutting Cafe box file, Prima flowers, Autumn Leaves stamp, Cricut, stazon ink, Bazzill cs, Doodlebug and PineCone Press pp, tulle, gems

It is also time for a new challenge over at Scrap and Stamp today! This week we want to see a Halloween layout or mini with at least one stamp! Perfect timing for me to finish up last years pictures before I get more tonight! Our sponsor this week is Dream Designs.

I stamped the tiny spider that is added to the tag all over the background cs in black ink. I wish it showed up in the photo but it adds just enough to the page.

supplies: Bazzill cs, Making Memories pp, Reminisce and Doodlebug stickers, My Sentiments Exactly alpha stamps, American Craft thickers, chalk ink, stickles, Studio G spider stamp, Cricut for spiders, wiggly eyes, white gel pen, floss

I hope you will join us at Scrap and Stamp and at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle this week! You have until Friday to get your projects in!

Inspirational Card Sketches #40

It is Tuesday again and we all know what that means! A new sketch from Dawn at ICS! This week is a fun one, well every week is...lol.
I followed the sketch pretty close this week. It did scream acrylic to me again so thats what I did. Well at least half acrylic, the front panel is acrylic and the back is pp. I simply cut the front about 1/2 inch longer so I would have room to fold it over and attach it to the front of the pp. Then the strip of cardstock covers the seam. It is hard to see the cs strip (which is on the inside) but it is the same purple as behind the little vampire with a scalloped edge. I put another purple oval on the inside to write on.
supplies: Bazzill cs, Creative Imagination pp, The Pixie Cottage stamps, ribbon, markers, stickles, colored pencils, stazon in and chalk ink, white gell pen, sharpie
I hope you will join us this week! Be sure to head over to the ICS blog to see what the rest of the DT did!

I tried to post these pics and projects yesterday but blogger was not cooperating with me and kept kicking me off. So I am a day late but still excited to share them...lol

This weekend was my nephew, Carsyn's, birthday party. He is a huge fan of Blues Clues so that is what he got!

Here is a pic of Carsyn with his cake and a few of the presents.

If you have been visiting my blog for awhile you probably know that I decorate cakes on the side. So here is the cake I made for him! I got the template for blue HERE....I did a few alterations but it was so great having a template to go by since I didn't have a shaped pan. Because I can't draw on paper more less a cake...lol

Yesterday was the day for a new challenge over at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays! We have a sketch for you this week. It screamed for a layout to me so that is what I did. Our fabulous sponsor this week is The Pixie Cottage! See that cute little vampire? It came from The Pixie Cottage! Isn't he cute?

I hope you will join us this week!

just for fun!

Today I got a little time to myself to play. Patrick had a few friends over and were happy with themselves and daddy. Yeah! I love days like that!

I got a couple of cards done just for fun and 3 DT projects too! I stopped by Digiday at Squigglefly on SNR last night. Holly made a video on how to make your own flowersoft. It is great you can view it HERE. I had been wondering if styrofoam would work. And Holly figured it all out so I didn't have too...lol. I used it on both of these cards. I also colored some to play with it on another card.

This is my second post of the day
Please scroll down to see my Stamp, Scrap and Doodle post!
Thank you!

This week at Scrap and Stamp we some big news! We are having a DT Call. It will be open until Nov. 15th. Please go to the SSS blog to get all the deets! I hope you will try out!

Our challenge this week is "what are you thankful for" plus stamping. I am thankful for my family. So my page this week has photos of me, Nick and Patrick with my cousin and her family that was taken at Christmas 2007 while we were in the mountains. We have some great times because we were always close growing up plus her husband, Mike and Nick have been best friends since they were little!

supplies: Rita Marie flowers and leaves, American Craft thickers, 7 Gypsies stamp, Three Bugs in a Rug papers, ribbon, gems, distress ink

I was trying to keep some white space since I was working with these small photos that I had already printed out. The largest one is only 3x4. I am not so sure about it...but then I never am when I am trying to keep alot of white space...lol.

I hope you will join us at SSDS this week! Please come by and see what the girls did!

I am also using this for a few other challenges

This is my take on the picture. I used some of the colors and nature! Isn't this image just too cute. It is one from our sponsor this week McMahon Five Designs.

Scrap and Stamp & Kits2Remember!

Today is the day for a new challenge over at Scrap and Stamp Saturday! This week we are saying goodbye to summer!
I didn't do a traditional page this week I did a 6x6 metal wall hanging for my sons room. He has been on several adventures this summer so I thought this would be a fun interactive thing for him to have.
I used a 6x6 metal panel from Kits2Remember, this way all I have to do is add a magnet to the photos and they can be changed out really easily! This photo was from last summer but the 3x4 photos I have ordered haven't come in yet.

supplies: Kits2Remember metal panel, SEI papers, My Heart Stamps for You(duck) and My Sentiments Exactly (alpha) stamps, Making Memories hybrid ink, Stazon ink, Colorbox chalk ink, Prizma pencils, twine, Basic Grey alpha stickers

I hope you will come join in the fun this week at Scrap and Stamp.
Be sure to go to Kits2Remember to see the new items that Jessica has in stock. Kits2Remember has the best acrylic out their in my book it is nice and thick but still punches easily with the cropadile!

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle #10

It is time for another fabulous challenge at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays! This week we have a recipe for you, 5 flowers, 3 pp, embossing and glitter!

I pulled out some of the Chistmas papers that I just had to have last year to play with. I colored the image in with Prizmas and added glitter to the candy cane and snow. The sky is colored in with chalk. I embossed the background with the Fiskars star texture plate. I love the mix of stars and some of them look like snowflakes to me. I then sanded over the embossing so that it would show a little better!

supplies: Reminisce pp, Paper Salon rubon, Dustin Pike digi image, Making Memories paper flowers and brad, Junkitz felt flowers, Prizma pencils, Stickles, sharpie, Peebles Inc chalk, Fiskars texture plate

This works for a few other challenges too.

With Patrick being gone for the rest of the week I got to play all day today in my scrap room. Mostly it was DT stuff that I will be sharing over the weekend and next week but I did make one card just for fun! It felt so good to be able to just make what I wanted too. It has been so crazy around here lately that I haven't gotten to make anything just for fun in several months.

ICS #37

This week is just flying by. With Patrick being out of school for his fall break it has really thrown my week off. So I am late yet again with my post this week. I had it set to post yesterday but for some reason it didn't...ugh. I took Patrick yesterday to meet my ex-SIL so he could go for a visit for the weekend. It has been so quite around the house today!
Since I am late getting my ICS card up I am sure you have all seen the new sketch. Right? If not here it is. This one has so many possibilities!!

Scrap and Stamp & Stamp, Scrap and Doodle

Boy am I running behind this weekend. We had our PTO fish fry plate fundraiser Saturday! Now I do not like fish at all so this was not my favorite idea but it went really well we sold about 300 plates which is great for such a small town...lol. But I stayed at the school Friday night until 8 washing and prepping the fish, there was 3 of us doing it and it took us that long and we started as soon as school was out! Then back at it around 7 Sat morning so I haven't had alot of scrappy time this week...boo hoo! Because lets not even talk about all the running I did earlier in the week to pick up donations and such!

Anyway! On to what the post is actually about! I had it scheduled to post my card for Stamp, Scrap and Doodle but alas it didn't work. So here it is! This week the theme is Halloween! We would like to see anything, pages, cards, altered or minis! Whatever your heart desires. You will have until Friday to post them on the blog to be in for a chance to win a great prize! Be sure to check out the rest of the design team they are such an amazing group of ladies!!
I kept mine really simple this week and I used stickers...lol. I never use those!

I am using this one for the Creative Belli challenge also (halloween bling)!

supplies: Scrapworks pp and chipboard, Reminisce pp (green), unknown cs, Mrs Elizabeth stickers, sharpie

This week over at Scrap and Stamp I am running behind. Because of all the work I was doing for the school I didn't have a chance to work on my page until today! I am sorry for that. It wasn't because I didn't want to we had such a fun kit to work with from Studio Calico! This week if you play along you will have a chance to win the kit for yourself! All you have to do is use a quote and a stamp somewhere on your page! Easy enough right? You have until Friday to link your page up to the blog!

supplies: Tango kit from Studio Calico: Bazzill cs, Basic Grey pp, woolies, alphas and rubons, Little Yellow Bicycle journal circle, Scenic Route grid pp, Studio Calico stamp, stazon ink, sharpie

I really hope you will join us this week!
