My nephew Trevor came to visit for almost 2 weeks from MS. That is why I haven't been posting any lately. We were trying to spend time with him. Patrick is always so excited when he gets to come. He loves his Trevor so. It is always sad to see him leave.
Trevor is lucky when he gets to come we have enough teenagers that hang around our house that he does have some interaction other than with a 4 year old. So we spent the day Saturday at the lake with Evan, Dalton, Virginya and Vivian. We also met up with some friends and their teenagers.
We spent most of the day tubing. I think Trevor and Dalton stayed on one the entire day. We started out with just our boat but ended up spread out between 3.
Here are a few photos from the day.
Evan(on the left) and Trevor when we first started.
their first crash
Patrick even gave it a go. Of course we were barely moving with him. But he would only ride with Trevor not even me...boo hoo

Since Patrick is content with a movie right now I will post a few more just because I can...hehehe. I really need to start cropping my pictures better. Something else to start working on.
This one was easy and quick too. The middle picture has a "yikes" rubon on it. Patrick found a rotten pumpkin and just had to touch it.
I actually painted the title on. I can't believe I dared to try it on my layout. I took a class from Tracy Austin at Alabama Scrapfest back in Feb. And that was the technique she was teaching. Of course during the class I did my title on a transparancy and then just attached it. I didn't think I would dare do it directly on my pages.
I cute some of the ornaments and pulled them to the front. The large ornament is from another sheet of BG paper. I added stickles on the large ornament too.
This is my hubby Nick and one of his many hobbies, woodworking. I have been itching to get my hands on this Cogsmo paper and I lucked out and got it as my Spice kit at Scrapdango and as a mini kit from Paper Popsicles. The mini kit has these awesome robot stamps Thats Jazzy Stamp Dreams. I will have something with those loaded soon. So stay tuned!
I took this photo on our trip to Gatlinburg at Christmas. I love this photo it looks like the mountains go on forever. The actual photo is so much better. The colors are amazing.
This is one for the 8x8 book I am making for Patrick of our pets and past pets. This was for one of the NSD challenges over at Scrapdango.
Glimmer mist for the background, rubons and a journaling block.
Cupcake was a puppy my dh found outside his office and he brought him home until we could find her a home. We were going to keep her but she kept escaping from our fence. I think she was a bit intimidated by Harley.

Since it has been so long since I have posted any layouts. I will be loading all the things I have done in the past several months in the next week or so. Hopefully our life has returned to normal enough now that I will be able to post regularly. I hate us being sick and staying on the go so much.
A card I made for a friend of mine who had a baby girl! This one was fast and easy...I love the ones that come together that way!
A Mother's Day card that I made for one of the NSD challenge at Scrapdango.
I love this picture of Edie, a friend of ours little girl. The challenge was to make something shaped. It was one of the pre-NSD challenges over at Paper Popsicles. This layout was alot of fun to make. I used glimmer mist on the cardstock. Alcohol ink on the acrylic pieces. Paint and felt. A little bit of everything.
Another layout for a challenge at Paper Popsicles. Everything except for the bling is from Melissa's store. I love all the goodies she has over at Paper Popsicles.
This was another quick and easy layout. I did this during the NSD crop I attended. This was the first year Patrick wanted to dye the eggs and he had to do it all by himself!!
