Our Newest Addtition!!!

You didn't think I was talking about a baby did you? Hee hee! I wish! Well sort of we got a new kitten! Not that it was in the plans. I think everyone knows we will take care of any animal because there are always puppies, kittens, dogs and cats showing up at our house. Normally I find homes for them and that was the plan with this one as well. I just wasn't ready for another kitten after loosing our Smokey in July, plus we already have Stuart.

It has taken me several weeks to get her to let me touch her so that I could try and fin her a home. Well this little girl won Nick over I guess because he suggested that we bring her in...lol. Of course Patrick was excited. Here he is with Sophie! She is taking to being inside well. We have to make her go out...lol Yesterday she was still hiding every time you made too much noise but today she has really come out of her shell!

Sophie has already started tormenting the birds. So much so that I had to put a large board on the top of the cage so she couldn't be seen by Jack and Jill...lol

Now on to my stressing!!! I can not believe that we are 4 days from Christmas! 4 Days!!!! Yikes!!! I am no where near ready. I am sure that is because I just haven't been in a very festive mood this year. I only got the main decorations up, just started shopping last week and sad to say I haven't even gotten cards sent out. I guess I will be sending New Years cards...lol.

So are you all ready? I am ready for it to be over! Bah Humbug I know...this is totally not like me. I love Christmas it is one of my favorite times of year! I usually go all out and rippin and raring to go in Sept. Nick always tells me I have to wait until at least Thanksgiving...lol

Well I better go I have tons to do today. I have way to many cookies to bake! Gifts to wrap! Grocery shopping to do...oh my!

Todays post is going to be short and sweet. I am trying to get caught up on things around the house and DT deadlines. I have been so busy at the school everyday running our PTO fundraiser. I have been there from 7 to about 3:30. We are having a Reindeer Lane Gift Shop for the kids to be able to buy their parents/grandparents something for Christmas. It has been a huge hit! Anyway back to what the post is suppose to be about...lol

It is time for another challenge over at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays! This weeks challenge is a shaped card, mini or anything else you would like to do! As long as it isn't rectangular or square it will work! Our sponsor this week is Victoria Case Art Designs!

Here is my take on it.

supplies: Basic Grey pp, Heidi Swapp flowers and bling brad, My Sentiments Exactly stamps, ink

Now for this weeks Scrap and Stamp Saturday challenge....We would like to see you scrap a gathering. Any type of gathering, birthdays, holidays, reunions, showers, gradutations get the idea...lol. Our sponsor is the fabulous Creations by Penny!

I used the pictures from my cousin Kristen's graduation. You may remember me talking about it back in May. She is the one who went to the Georiga Acadamy For the Blind, it was a very emotional day for us. You can read more about it HERE if you would like too!

I am a little late getting my post up...sorry about that! My internet has been down for over a week, they finally got it back going on Monday, so I have been playing catch up everywhere!
