I hope everyone has been having a good week. Ours has been busy with ball games, cleaning, gardening and me subbing for Patrick's class. God Bless all those teachers out there. I don't think I could do it all the time!
I have been getting alot of scrapping done as well I just can't share most of it yet. Some is for an upcoming GDT and some is for the Star competition at Scrapstreet. It is a fun competition with alot of talented ladies!
Here are a few things I have done for kits2remember lately. This week we are sharing ideas for Mother's Day on the krew blog. It is hard to believe that Mother's Day is almost here. Where is this year going?

Here is a quick 11x14 message board. I used k2r metal panel, Recess papers, k2r flourish stamps, Chatterbox alphas and Peebles Inc shaker boxes. As well as stazon, distress ink, stickles and silk flowers. This is for my MIL she is big into the rustic country stuff so I was trying to stay with that theme.
(Not sure why the flowers look so bright??)

This is a a decor piece I made for our house. I used three k2r 6x6 acrylic panels, Bella Blvd paper, Bazzill cardstock, k2r flourish stamps, Imaginise brads, raindrops, glimmermist, stickles and flowers.
I sprayed all the panels with glimmer mist and then decorated them. I used my Design Studio for the title and printed a family quote that I liked for the right side. Stamped and added flowers.

For the center panel I stamped over the edge of the photo and then added black diamond stickles for a little extra. I like how it frames the photo.

Well I hate to rush off but I have a ton of things to do before this afternoon. Plus I have got to wash Patrick's uniform for yet another game!

Happy Easter!!!

I hope everyone had a great Easter. Ours was pretty laid back this year. We kept it simple and just did desserts with family. Everyone came here at 3 and ate dessert and we hid 100 eggs for just the 3 little ones. The guys thought we were nuts for doing that many but the kids loved it. Notice our yard youngin's, they are all barefoot. LOL.... We can't keep shoes on any of them. Carsyn was not cooperating for the photos he really needed a nap.

Here is one of Jaise and Patrick. And the next one is all 3 of them. Carsyn wanted to lay down. So I tried to work with him and let them all lay down and take it from above. Of course then he wanted to move..lol. These will have to do!
Have a great day everyone I am off to clean up the mess and get Patrick to bed!

Okay it took me a little longer than planned to post a few pics of Patrick in his t-ball finery. I ended up with a sick kiddo this week and all he has wanted to do was hang on momma. So I haven't gotten anything done. Boy does my house show it. And I had a few scrappy projects to get done as well. Oh well..I love when he wants to cuddle and this is the only time he wants to anymore.
Here are a few photos of him in his uniform and of him at bat. He still doesn't know if he wants to bat left or right handed, it changes every time he goes to bat. He did so well this year compared to last year. There has been no crying or throwing himself on the ground when he misses. Woo Hoo! That is alot of improvement for us! I am so proud of him!!!

Good News!!!

I am so excited to be able to say that I will be staying on at kits2remember for another term. I was thrilled when Jessica asked me to stay on the Krew. If you haven't checked out here store or the blog you should. She offers acrylic and metal in many sizes and now rubber stamps as well.
On another note I am going to toot my horn for just a bit. I have another project being published in the May issue of Scrapbooking.com. And a layout in the May issue of Scrapstreet. I am so exited.

I have been scrapping this week but I can't post it yet. One is for k2r and the other is for the Scrapstreet Star 3 contest over at Scrapstreet. It is a month long contest with weekly challenges. There will be a grand prize winner and 2 people will get asked to join the Scrapstreet crew! It is such a fun board to be a part of. You should check it out!!

I hope you all have a great day. I will be back later with some photos of my weekend. We had a busy day with Patrick's t-ball season kicking off yesterday.
